Science Practice Session on Gravitational Potential Energy

Dear Parents,

I would like to share some photos of our class when we were doing our Science activities. To make the experiment even more interesting, we used flour to illustrate a bigger impact when weights were dropped. Though messy, the students had a whale of a time doing them.

The students went on to measure the distance travelled by toy cars after rolling down ramps of different heights. It was amusing to see such big kids playing with little toy cars. =)

Dear Parents/ Guardians of Primary 6 Diligence,

Welcome to a new school year!

First, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year. I am Mr Stan Lee, the form teacher of your child/ward. The co-form teacher of the class is Mrs Desri Lee.

Our Class

This is my 1^st year with the students. Some students may also need to adapt to a new class though most of them are familiar with one another. This year, with the national exams in 9 months’ time, we shall focus on critical thinking and problem solving skills to prepare them for it. At the same time, we promise to have a wonderful and memorable year ahead.

Homework/ Assignments

Every student is expected to list his/her homework daily in the Elias Planner. It is important to ensure that every student takes ownership in his/ her work and hand in the work punctually.

Communication and support

Home support is crucial and it is vital that parents/guardians, students and teachers form a special amicable tripartite relationship. Please feel free to email me if you have any enquiries regarding your child’s/ward’s progressing in class.
